Supervised visitation at the Los Angeles Superior Court
In Los Angeles County, custody and visitation (parenting time) cases go to the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles (Family Law Division).
How supervised visitation works here
- An LA standing order requires paid monitors to be TrustLine registered, complete a Live Scan background check and file form FL-324(P).
- Unpaid monitors, such as relatives or friends, must meet the order's eligibility rules and file form FL-324(NP).
- Family Court Services mediation is free and confidential.
- California Standard 5.20 sets the statewide practice rules every supervised visitation provider must follow.
