In Clark County, custody and visitation cases go to the Eighth Judicial District Court (Family Division).

How supervised visitation works here

In Nevada, courts use the terms custody and visitation.
Nevada law says that if a court finds by clear and convincing evidence that a parent committed domestic violence, there is a rebuttable presumption that sole or joint physical custody by that parent is not in the child's best interest.
The court must also make findings that the custody or visitation arrangement it orders adequately protects the child and the victim of domestic violence. The statute does not spell out supervised visitation, so a judge decides case by case.
Clark County family cases are heard in the Family Division of the Eighth Judicial District Court, mostly at the Family Courts and Services Center on North Pecos Road.
Custody mediation through the Family Mediation Center happens by court order.
