How supervised visitation works here

Oregon judges decide custody using the best interests of the child, and the statute lists domestic abuse as a factor (ORS 107.137).
When a parent who committed abuse is given parenting time, the court can order that the time be supervised by another person or agency, and can require exchanges at a protected location (ORS 107.718).
Jackson County Circuit Court mandates mediation to resolve custody and parenting time issues, started by a Motion for Mediation.
A parenting class is mandatory in custody cases, and the court lists Children in Between, an online class, as the only online option.
